DRAFT REPORT OF THE WORKING PARTY ON THE ACCESSION OF THE KINGDOM OF TONGA TO THE WORLD TRADE ORGANIZATION

Introduction
The Government of the Kingdom of Tonga applied for accession to the World Trade Organization in June 1995. At its meeting on 15 November 1995, the General Council established a Working Party to examine the application of the Government of Tonga to accede to the World Trade Organization under Article XII of the Marrakesh Agreement establishing the WTO. The terms of reference and the membership of the Working Party are reproduced in document WT/ACC/TON/2/[Rev.6].
The Working Party met on 26 April 2001; and ………………... under the Chairmanship of H.E. Mr. S. Harbinson (Hong Kong, China).
