PROGRAMME FOR WORKSHOP ON TRANSPARENCY
Note by the Secretariat
Revision
The Secretariat of the World Trade Organization is organizing a special workshop on the transparency provisions of the Agreement on the Application of Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures (SPS Agreement), to be held in Geneva, Switzerland, on Monday, 15 October 2012 and in the morning of Tuesday, 16 October 2012. The workshop will be followed by informal and formal meetings of the SPS Committee, lasting until Friday, 19 October 2012. Representatives of Members, Observers and Observer Organizations are all invited to participate in the transparency workshop as well as the subsequent meeting of the Committee.

Notice of Changes to the Proposed Import Health Requirements for Natural Casings from Cloven-hoofed Animals (MIFAFF Notice 2009-305) The Ministry for Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MIFAFF) of the Republic of Korea is advising the public of the Ministry's decision to modify the proposed import health requirements which were notified on 10 December 2009 (G/SPS/N/KOR/352). After reviewing the comments received, MIFAFF has decided to modify the import health requirements.
